Report on the picnic enjoyed at the Lake Wis Home of Chr Hoversten
--- 55 people came to the picnic
---Bill/Joan
Ayers, Peter/Margo Holzman,Ed Lukaszewicz,
Paul/Jeane Romlow,Geo/Melinda Skinner, & Tim Hoversten
assisted host and hostess, Tom/Loretta Hoversten
Thanks a million for all the great help!
---The
assistants helped decorate the decks and grounds
with
red/white/blue patriotic symbols and flags
---Candidate
Dave Ross, Mayor of Superior, Wi leaped up to
to the microphone. With enthusiasm he explained
how he
won the office of Mayor as a republican in a city that
votes
67% democrat. How he interviewed city
office workers
and documented unacceptable performance on
21.
At his recommendation all 21 were dismissed by a
totally
democrat city board. We need Dave
Ross as Lt. Gov.!
---Tim
McCummber represented Scott Walker for Gov. with
a factual presentation on the impact of Doyle's
$4 Billion
budget will affect your and my family in regard
to auto
insurance, property taxes, loss of school monies
and
many other items. Scott Walker has
proven as County
Exec. in Milwaukee County that he can do better
than Doyle.
---Peter Theron
for Congressional Representative illustrated
with stories from Great Falls, Montana and Buffalo, New
York how Canadians have come across the line to the USA
for the hi-tech and hi-quality health care that was and
is not
available in Canada. The media tried to pervert
and distract
attention from the inferior health care in Canada under
the
universal government program to complain about
some
uneasy border crossing issues. What is your
conclusion?
---Kyle O'Brian
represented Dan Kopanke running for U.S.
Senate. Kopanke is a hardworking
fiscal conservative
who lives in LaCrosse, WI. Kyle said that
Dan is an
outstanding gentleman who gives generous personal
attention to persons and details.
---Former Gov.
Scott McCallum and his wife graced the
the picnic grounds with their presence in kind and wise
comments and questions addressed to the candidates.
---Keith Ripp
Assemblyman for the 2nd Congressional Dist.
shared inside information on the closed door sessions
under the dome of the Capitol in Madison. If you
were
not one of the 55 picnic participants, you missed
some
sweet and sour stories worth repeating. Laurie
Ripp
accompanied her husband Keith with her smiling and
gracious personality and presence for which we are all
so thankful and appreciate her capable and supportive
work
